THE TIME IS NOW |

Unfortunate, But True How do you spend your time each day? Perhaps you attend school, work in a corporate job, tend bar or wait tables, run a small business, raise a family, or work for a local county agency. Whatever it is you do each day, chances are you find yourself busy taking responsibility for your own welfare and following your own path. Now imagine for a moment a group of people with the following objectives: erase the middle class, discontinue our Constitution, eliminate capitalism and free market choices, take over private industry, make it 100% impossible to become financially independent, and implement overpowering excise and direct taxes on each individual. While you spend your time taking care of your life this growing group spends each day and all of its energy working to accomplish those objectives. This relentless group must be met head on NOW or, within as little as 10-15 years, they will prevail, destroying all you've come to take for granted in this spectacular nation. Why is Socialism Regressive? Socialists repress inspiration, dreams, and hopes for independence. How? By taxing achievers to the point it makes no sense to achieve in the first place. Think about it for a moment... If you wanted to start your own small enterprise but ran into 70% federal taxes once you reached a modest threshold, what would be the point? Add state taxes to the mix and you'd be faced with an 80%-82% income tax burden. Sounds ludicrous doesn't it? That's socialism. |

1.) Change Your Attitude Now is not the time to give in to the forces working to dismantle our constitution and way of life. Our founders specifically made each citizen responsible for carrying on their gift to us; therefore, paralyzing yourself with apathy, fear, frustration or ignorance plays into the opposition's hands. Resolve to make a difference and you will. 2.) Understand Your Constitution and Our Political Origins Our nation's founders went well out of their way to protect each person from the State and the perils of collectivism. This fact is the basic principle behind our Constitution which lays out restriction after restriction in a well conceived attempt to keep each person's liberties intact. The word democracy cannot be found in the Constitution because pure democracies kill individual freedom and eventually devolve into totalitarian or authoritarian rule - or worse. The constitution grants no rights to one group over another and it sets up significant roadblocks between an over zealous President's desire to rule and your freedom. Read this site. Read associated materials and become the knowledgeable citizen your founders had faith you'd be. 3.) Understand Why Capitalism Makes Us Prosper Did you know that over 7 million US citizens are millionaires, excluding the value of their homes? Our capitalist roots beget our nation unparalleled opportunity and prosperity available to every person willing to dedicate themselves to their dream. Right now you can start your own business or follow your own path whatever it may be. Don't believe us? How do you think this business got started? Magic? No... by one person's dream and willingness to act - and take personal risk. 4.) Take a Stand People avoid conversations likely to elicit emotional responses or the potential for verbal conflict, especially those of us who are non political creatures. A sound practice for sure, your desire to steer clear of heated battles doesn't mean you cannot take a stand about what you see happening in our nation's and state capitals. Remember, individual liberty and the principles upon which our nation is built are not Democrat vs. Republican issues. 5.) Influence Others Through Conversational Education Public knowledge of our original foundings fall into three categories: those who understand and love our way of life, those who understand and don't like our foundations, and those who go about their daily business without any political ideology. Those who disdain our constitution and economic structure right now seek to influence the less informed. Each one of us needs to engage people who find the headlines difficult to navigate... you'll be surprised how many people tell you they "don't really understand." |
